The Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special updates Fender's iconic Jazzmaster model with some thoroughly modern improvements: Hotter pickups, a redesigned Adjusto-Matic bridge with floating tremolo tailpiece, a 9.5 fingerboard radius and an improved neck pocket with increased back-angle for improved stability and sustain. The Classic PlayerJazzmaster guitar's tremolo plate has been moved closer to the bridge to increase break angle and sustain. A screw-in tremolo arm increases stability and control when executing divebombs.

Now the feature this guitar has truely makes it stand out. The TOM style bridge I honestly think is by far better than the usual Jazzmaster bridge. Easy to adjust and dosent get that awful buzz that Jazzmasters are famous for. The pickups can feedback a bit, but with that neck booster switch enabled, and the tone wheel all the way down this baby puts out a jazz sound I have never heard done by a solid body. The tremelo system is alright, can knock it out of tune or even snap the high E string off (unless you put at least 10s on it) but all that is expected with a Fender stock tremelo system
For a Mexican made guitar this thing is a thing of beauty, the finish is flawless, and the wood grains show just a little which instantly makes it stand out. Neck is very smooth and plays like a dream.
Value is okay, a little bit to high for a Mexican guitar, considering you could pick up an American strat or tele for 50 bucks more. But that aside, this thing plays great and stands out from the guitars other players are using.
