The Fender DLX Roadhouse Stratocaster Electric Guitar RW Mystic Ice Blue is a 6-string electric guitar, featuring an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fretboard, and a 3-tone sunburst finish. Three Vintage Noiseless pickups offer all the clarity and articulation you’ve come to expect from Strat pickups—with no hum. A six-position V6 switch disguised as a tone control and preamp offers 6 extra tonal variations, without compromising the classic, slick look of a Strat. An S-1 switch concealed in the volume control bypasses the preamp for rich, traditional pickup-only sounds. Enjoy smoother travel when using the tremolo bridge, thanks to the modern two-point synchronized design, which includes bent steel saddles for classic aesthetics.
A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes. Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a three-ply mint green pickguard, along with aged white pickup covers, control knobs and switch tip.

I bought this particular guitar after a long period of research into the characteristics and features of the various Stratocaster models. I settled on this particular guitar because of the fretboard curvature and the locking tuners etc - amazing value at this price point. Initially, I wanted a USA model but would have had to pay more than double this price to get the same features and fretboard that I wanted - a no brainer! Delighted with the guitar and the service from dv247.
Just what was expected. Setup was decent - needed a little intonation adjustment. Couldn't be happier with this Strat!
Great "straty" sounds. The amp for pickups is welcome. Tuning stability at a question with floating tremolo, had to put additional 2 springs and will consider blocking tremolo if doesn't work. It seems the guitar came straight from the factory, some wood dust here and there, the neck finish by the bolt-on shows some minor sanding marks, but it's not really visible, so nothing to worry about. Not keen on the overly bright colour of the fretboard, but for this price can't expect ebony. Would love to buy Ultra series but can't justify 3x the price. The guitar was well and securely packed. Highly recommended.
