Deluxe Telecaster in the style of the seventies.
Slim Tele feel and powerful humbucker tones are the hallmarks of the Fender Limited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster Deluxe MN Lake Placid Blue. Built in the style of the seventies, the instrument is composed of an alder body and a bolt-on maple neck in a slim "Thin C" profile to convey the authentic feel of the original. Sonically, two Fender Wide Range humbuckers developed by pickup guru Tim Shaw in neck and bridge positions provide wide and warm dual-coil tones with added punch. Last but not least, the Limited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster Deluxe MN Lake Placid Blue presents solid hardware appointments in the form of FenderVintage "F" Stamped tuners and a strings-through-body Strat hardtail bridge with six individual string riders.
The maple neck with "Thin C" profile and Micro-Tilt Adjustment can be played comfortably up to the highest registers.
Authentic '70s construction with Micro-Tilt Adjustment.
Built in the style of the Seventies, the Limited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster naturally comes with the correct appointments of the time. To make the alder body fit comfortably against the body, its back features a large-scale "belly cut", while the bolt-on maple neck features a "Thin C" neck profile with a modern 9.5" fretboard radius (241 mm) for best playing characteristics in all positions. The triple neck bolting with Micro-Tilt Adjust ment allows precise adjustment of the neck angle if needed.
Wide range humbuckers developed by Tim Shaw promise fat and punchy guitar sounds.
Wide Range Humbucker
The electrical sound conversion of the '70s Tele Deluxe naturally takes over two Wide Range Humbuckers. Developed by pickup guru Tim Shaw to reproduce the sound of the Seventies as authentically as possible, the dual coils deliver a powerful and extremely fat sound that lets every note whip out of the speaker with rich punch. To customize the sound, the electric guitar also offers dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup.
On the large Fender Seventies headstock, vintage "F" stamped tuners ensure accurate tuning.
Classic Fender Seventies hardware
Last but not least, Fender completes the Limited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster Deluxe MN Lake Placid Blue with classic FenderHardware Seventies hardware. Bridge is a short Strat hardtail with string guide through the body. String tabs made of bent steel plate not only support the authentic vintage sound character of the guitar, but also allow precise adjustment of intonation and string action. On the large CBS-era headstock, Fender Vintage "F" Stamped tuners with stamped F logo also ensure accurate and robust tuning of the electric guitar.
