The Fender Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard Original ‘57/’62 SSS (Black) adds characterful Vintage ‘60s Tones to any Stratocaster. Modelled after the Pick-Ups on the famous 1963 Stratocaster, the Pick-Up Set in the Pre-Wired Pickguard uses classic Stepped Pole Pieces and Alnico 5 Magnets for dynamic response and warm Bass, whilst Formvar Wire-Wound Coils provide Balanced Output. The Fender Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard '57/'62 can easily replace any standard 11-Hole Pickguard and comes complete with all necessary Mounting Hardware.

The product sounds wonderful however at this price level I’d expected all nice cloth covered wiring not just the pickups, the pick up wires were also cut quite short so didn’t lie very neatly, the soldering was just ok. No single ply scratch plate option either may be Fender should just sell a harness with pick ups wire up or even a kit to do it yourself ? DV247 gave the usual high quality service and delivery
