G&L Tribute Kiloton MN Irish Ale
The G&L Tribute Kiloton RW Alpine White is a four-string electric bass with a massive sound that provides the perfect groove foundation for any rock and metal band. The bass, manufactured with a Linde body and screwed maple neck, offers the usual playing comfort, while the G&L MFD Humbucker makes every bass amp sweat. High-quality hardware in the form of the G&L Saddle-Lock bridge and precise vintage style complete the G&L Tribute Kiloton.
The G&L Tribute Kiloton RW Alpine White is built with a classic selection of wood. Accordingly, the body is made of lime, while the screwed neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The "Medium C" profile also offers unrestricted playing comfort, allowing every run and groove to easily get out of hand.
The G&L Tribute Kiloton uses a G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucker, which is mounted in the sweet spot of the string vibration. With its extremely massive sound, the MFD pickup pushes every note into the pit of the stomach with comforting power. The 3-way toggle switch allows you to choose between parallel, serial or split operation of the coils, while the sound can be adjusted via the volume and tone controls.
Last but not least, the G&L Tribute Kiloton RW Alpine White is equipped with high-quality G&L hardware. The G&L Saddle Lock bridge, whose massive construction supports the sustain of the strings with a projection embedded in the body, sits accordingly on the body. In addition, the string riders can be locked after adjustment of intonation and string position. Furthermore, G&L tuners in open vintage style on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning.

But what I was also looking for was a quality passive bass with a jazz neck (but no JJ pickup configuration). This is my perfect guitar.
But hang on. It has more. There’s sustain which really lets each note ring out true and long. And the three-way switch lets the pickup shine with three very different tones; similar to a P (series) and a J (single coil) and the smoother parallel setting. This is effectively three quality passive basses in one. What a bargain!
