J & D Bass guitar 150 Special Bat Mark BKM

It´s a very good bass for the price. I´ve been playing with this model for like 3 years and I never had any problem with it. It´s perfect for slapping and picking.
Most of all I can really get a deep and profound sound from this beautiful instrument.

Liked the flat black color particulary, very light weight, strong bass sound, it can sustain sound for very long time. Very good performance in clean mode, but extraordinary good with overdrive or distortion effects too. Excellent design, very good price for the quality it has.

At first glance it looks small, almost as small as a guitar but then you'll realize it just has a really small body. It is very light and the small body doesn't interfere with the playing at all. The tuning keys are great and keep in tune even right out of the box. A great performance overall and definitely one of the best student/early basses in this price range. The pickups have their distinct tone which ranges from funky stuff to mildly heavy metal stuff.

Bought this to augment my mini home studio as using an octave pedal with my guitar was not achieving the desired results.
Only wanted something cheap to lay simple bass lines down but wow this is far better than I ever hoped for and eclipses any of the other basses I have had in the past.
The action is perfect once adjusted and intonation was spot on straight out of the box. Its well weighted and looks great in the matt black and has no issues staying in tune
The sound is great and you can get some really good variations using the tone controls.
In short I love it and for a guitarist who just wants to do a bit of bass I couldn't ask for anymore.
So glad I didnt spend the same kind of money on a second hand one of maybe a more known brands as I have a brand spanker with crisp strings for my money
