With its excellent playing characteristics and clean sound development, the Concept Series Soloist SLAT7P electric guitar will please even the most demanding metalheads and shredders. The intricate multiscale construction offers each of the seven strings its own scale length with optimal string tension, so that a precise representation of each note is accompanied by a balanced feel. The full-length maple-wenge neck with graphite reinforcement and the ebony fingerboard with compound radius also create the best conditions for unhindered playability of all 24 frets. With two voicings that can be changed via push/pull switch in the volume control, the active pickups elicit a wide range of sounds from the guitar amplifier, including aggressive high-gain distortion with razor-sharp representation of every note as well as singing overdrive for fluid solo splits and crystal-clear cleans for effect-laden sound carpets. A 3-way switch and tone pot are also provided for pickup control.
On the headstock, Gotoh Locking Tuners in "3+4" arrangement provide accurate and stable tuning of the Concept Series Multiscale Soloist.
Hardware from Hipshot and Gotoh
The Concept Series Soloist SLAT7P HT MS Satin Bourbon electric guitar from Jackson is completed by high-quality hardware equipment that also completes professional applications on stage and in the studio with stoic composure. The popular Hipshot Fixed Bridge is used on the body here, with extra-long adjustment travel for the tailpieces guaranteeing optimal intonation and string action. In addition, the fixed bridge with the string guide through the body supports the precise sound character of the electric guitars. At the distinctive "3+4" headstock, the strings are guided with a straight pull to the precise and tuning-stable Gotoh locking tuners. In addition, practical Dunlop Straplocks hold the Soloist guitar securely to the strap.
