In this version, the Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge has been premounted on an Ortofon SH-4 Black headshell and features a Fine Line needle-cut diamond that is particularly suited to a demanding application. The profile of Fine Line diamonds provides less distortion, reduces vinyl wear, and presents information at the highest frequency, which is imperative for demanding listeners. With an output voltage of 5 mV, it provides optimal sound reproduction and sound accuracy. The bodies of the 2M series are made of Hopelex, which brings high rigidity and prevents unwanted resonance during the output. pickup of the 2M series also features Ortofon's Split Pole Pin technology. This allows the moving magnet systems to achieve a frequency response that is as flat as that of moving coil pickups.
