RIVER naab connected and in action
Optimum and unadulterated signal flow
The RIVER naab from Palmer is a two-channelmedia DI box for removing hum loops and summing mono signals. The integrated transformers also ensure optimum level and impedance matching of the audio signal, resulting in a brilliant and clean sound without noise. The device is mainly designed to process stereo signals, but it also offers the option of switching to "mono", whereby the mono sum signal is then present at both XLR outputs simultaneously. This means that Palmer's RIVER naab can also be used as a split box with two electrically isolated outputs. The RIVER naab can be connected to a variety of playback devices. Its balanced line outputs then bring the best sound directly to the connected speakers. The passive mode of operation of the RIVER naab not only has the advantage that no power supply is required but also makes working with it very fail-safe. At the end of the day, the device is also ideal for mobile use thanks to its passive mode of operation, the many connection options and the robust metal housing.
