The Rode NT1 Kit is a boxed Set comprising of the Rode NT1 Condenser Microphone, an SM6 Shock Mount (with detachable Pop-Filter), a Draw-String Microphone Dust Cover and a 6m XLR Cable. The Rode NT1 is suitable for classic Studio applications such as Vocal, Room and Acoustic Instrument Recording, as well as home Voice Recording and even Film Scoring. The outstanding features of this Microphone are its very Low Noise Level, and the exceptionally strict Manufacturing Specifications, which ensure consistent Sound Quality with different NT1s.
Vintage Sound
Rode has developed the HF6 Capsule for the NT1. It has a Gold-Coated Capsule with a 1" Diaphragm that is trimmed for a classic sound. This makes the NT1 sound similar to the Studio Microphones of past decades, but with much better Noise behaviour. In addition, the Capsule is suspended internally, which effectively decouples it against Oscillations and Vibrations.
The main features of the Rode NT1 Kit include:
1" Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
20Hz-20kHz Frequency Range
Polar Pattern: Cardioid
+24V/48V Phantom Power Options
Internal Rycote Lyre Capsule Shock Mounting System
Active Electronics: JFET Impedance Converter with Bipolar Output Buffer
I purchased this microphone for use in studio, with beginner purposes. After searching the Rode microphones, I found that Rode NT-1 has an excelent Price/Quality.
Once I received it, I was very pleased! Is an excellent condenser microphone for beginners or even for professionals, with a fantastic sound capture and quality.
I was't ready to this cos that's not so huge money and you can get good value but this!.. Wow-efect from the start. No plugins, no fxs, nothing. You turning on this mic into the interface and trying to speak or sing and everething sounds sooo good as I hear my voice in my head. Really flat response on all freaquencies, easy to chose distance between you and microphone, high sensitivity. And one more thing - I'm hear my room where working on projects but much lower then I thought before recieved the mic. Soft gate on the chanel and your voice sound quiet without any artifacts.
I ordered from Morocco and for the price, you are getting a very good microphone. I was satisfied with the performance and the shipping time. However, it's a burden when you have to pay additional fees (VAT) because it can be so expensive.
This is an amazing mic and really great value for the price. I'm using it to record Uilleann pipes which is a reeded wind instrument and I was blown away by how this mic caught a very very true sound. very happy with it.
