With the latest generation of triggers from Roland, it is now easier and less problematic than ever to transfer the multifaceted world of electronic drums to your acoustic drum set. The triggers of the RT-30 series not only work more precisely and dynamically than their predecessors but they can also be mounted faster and more easily.
What's new about the RT-30 triggers?
First of all, the robust fibreglass housing of the RT-30 triggers has been shortened by about 10 mm compared to their predecessors, which means that they no longer protrude so far into the playing zone of the drumhead and leave more room for playing. Thanks to the new mounting system, the Roland triggers can be mounted on any drum in just a few steps. Even tension hoops that are bent inwards are no problem for the RT-30HR snare trigger and the RT-30H Tom trigger. The RT-30K Kick trigger with Protective Grip Technology protects the Bass Drum hoop from damage. The trigger Output is located on the side of the housing, which significantly improves the handling of the cables.
Due to the 10 mm shorter housing, more of the playing surface remains with the latest generation of Roland triggers
With which sound modules can I use the RT-30 triggers?
The RT-30 triggers are naturally compatible with all Roland drum and percussion products like the V-Drums modules, the Percussion pads (SPD series) as well as the TM-2 trigger module. Furthermore, they can be used with all common sound modules and trigger-to-MIDI converters of other manufacturers.
