The Rupert Neve Designs MBT is a two-channel Master bus transformer with custom Neve transformers. Through these transformers, the MBT offers an incredible variety of ways to process input signals in many different forms. The MBT is equally suited for a complete mix, groups, stems or individual sources and allows for convenient sound shaping and processing using flexiblecontrols. The evolution of the legendary Silk circuitry into Super Silk takes harmonic manipulation to a whole new level with the addition of transformers, bringing more control and flexibility to the process. It is inspired by the Width controls of the SFE, but includes two major differences. First, the Width control works only additively and with a wider range for more extreme operation. Second, the MBT has a variable HPF from 50Hz to 800Hz. The Color Comp of the Master Bus Transformer is designed to boost nonlinear distortion and the "color" characteristics of the opto cell, giving a new sense of life and depth to the input signal.
