The Spector Euro6 LX-TW BSM (Black Stain Matte) is a premium 6-string electric Bass with all the features that have made Stuart Spector's instruments legendary worldwide. This Bass offers not only a curved body for a particularly stable playing position, but also a continuous Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard and an extended 35” scale for a wire-like, precise response. 2x powerful EMG 45TW humbuckers and the active Spector TonePump electronics promise versatile and modern sounds for almost every musical style. The Spector Euro6 LX-TW is equipped with the Spector Locking Bridge and precise Gotoh bass mechanics.
Active EMG Pickups & TonePump Electronics
The electric sound conversion of the Spector Euro6 LX-TW is undertaken by 2x active EMG 45CS-TW humbuckers. In their classic soap-bar housing these pick-ups combine a powerful humbucker and a classic single coil, which can be switched via push/pull pots integrated into the volume controls. In combination with the active Spector TonePump 2-band tone control, which provides up to 18dB boost for bass and treble, extremely versatile bass sounds are available for almost any musical style.
High-Quality Hardware
The high-quality hardware equipment underlines the status of the Euro6 LX-TW. The solidly built Spector Locking Bridge sits on the body, and its riders can be locked in place after adjusting intonation and string position, thus contributing to the defined tone and long sustain of the 6-string. At the other end of the Bass, Gotoh mechanics ensure accurate and stable tuning.
Neck-Through Construction
The Spector Euro6 LX-TW has an elaborate neck-through construction and an extended 35” scale (889mm) for a defined sound development of all strings. The neck is made of 3x pieces of Maple with graphite inlays, while the fingerboard is made of Rosewood and has typical "Spector Crown" inlays for marking the layers. In addition, the Alder and Maple body wings have the expected Spector bass curvature, which nestles to the player for a particularly stable playing position.
