Stereo guitar pedal with Reverb and tremolo
The Strymon Flint V2 Tremolo & Reverb impresses as the next generation of the popular guitar pedal from California not only with the magical combination of reverb and harmonic volume modulation but also with expanded functionality. At the heart of the pedal, a powerful ARM processor ensures first-class sound quality of the effect algorithms, while the analogue Class A JFET preamp promises an unadulterated and dynamic output of the clean signal portion. In addition to separate settings for the reverb and tremolo effects, the Flint V2 from Strymon also comes with full MIDI support.
Tremolo
The tremolo effect of the Strymon Flint V2 covers the coveted vintage tones of probably the most original guitar effect with three different algorithms. The "'61 Harmonic Tremolo" stands here for the rare dual-band filter, which alternately emphasizes the low and high frequencies and thus ensures a sound image with high recognition value. The "'63 Tube Tremolo" simulates the coveted harmonic distortion tremolo effect of classic guitar amps, achieved by manipulating the BIAS of the power tubes, while the "'65 Photocell Tremolo" creates a hard change between maximum and minimum volume. To adjust the tremolo effect optimally, the Flint V2 offers controls for effect speed and intensity.
Reverb
The Flint V2's three reverb algorithms cover the sound-defining reverb sounds of the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. While the "'60s Spring Tank Reverb" delivers the distinctive sonic character of a traditional spring reverb system, the "'70s Electronic Plate Reverb" simulates the dense reverb of classic studio effects. The "'80s Hall Reverb" setting, on the other hand, corresponds to the characteristic sound of a reverb generated by means of a rack processor. In addition to the Mix control, which precisely adjusts the ratio of Reverb to the clean input signal, the Flint V2 provides Decay and Color controls for the decay time of the reverb tail and its sound colouration.
All connections of the Strymon Flint V2 Tremolo & Reverb effect pedal are located on the front of the pedal for easy accessibility.
