Thanks to its exceptionally lightweight construction consisting of a solid spruce top on a laminated nato body, the Yamaha CGX 122 produces a powerful and balanced sound. This makes the 4/4 concert guitar suitable for both beginners and advanced players. The flat nato neck is equipped with a walnut fingerboard, in which 20 frets are set, which intonate cleanly due to the perfect tuning of the saddle and the 52 mm wide nut made of urea. The headstock is equipped with chrome-plated classical tuners, which can be used to tune the 6 nylon strings quickly and precisely. The heart of the guitar is undoubtedly the integrated Yamaha System 73 pickup system, which transmits the acoustic sound unaltered to the amplifier. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by filigree multi-ply bindings and an elaborate soundhole rosette, which are tastefully accentuated by the matte finish.
