1010 Music Bitbox Mk2

The extensively equipped sampler/looper Bitbox from 1010 Music experiences some hardware improvements in the new Mk2 version, which can be found under the hood. A new ARM processor with double the performance not only ensures optimized computing processes but also expands the module with delay and reverb effects that can be assigned to the samples. The 3.5" touchscreen has also been improved for even more precise editing. In addition, the firmware can now also be exchanged, so that either Synthbox or Fxbox can be operated in the Bitbox Mk2. This is also possible because the controls of all these modules are identical.

The 24-voice polyphonic module plays up to 16 samples at a time, regardless of whether they are short percussion sounds or long drones in the range of up to four gigabytes. Samples are recorded and played back in WAV format in studio-quality. Thanks to numerous CV and trigger inputs and the MIDI input, complex control from a purely modular and/or MIDI setup is easy to implement. Imagine a looped speech sample whose endpoint is permanently shifted by an LFO, add some reverb or delay, add drums and the next techno track is ready.
