DJs can use the Stems FX in Serato DJ Pro to exploit even more performance possibilities and dynamically remix their tracks. The AlphaTheta - DDJ-GRV6 is not only compatible with rekordbox and rekordbox iOS /Android (only 2 decks are available for smartphones and tablets), but also supports Serato DJ Pro. The multi-device compatibility makes it versatile and an ideal companion for DJs in various fields of application. With its sophisticated design and well thought-out user interface, this 4-channel controller offers a professional experience for DJs of all experience levels.
The Groove Circuit function is available exclusively for rekordbox and, thanks to the drum swap option, allows you to enrich music tracks with rekordbox-integrated loop banks from different music genres, with your own loops or sophisticated drum rolls. You can also record loops in live mode, extract the drum parts and insert them into the loop slots. These functions open up further creative possibilities for DJs.
Smart Rotary Selector
The Smart Rotary Selector simplifies navigation in rekordbox/Serato DJ Pro and ensures intuitive operation. It is designed to be used almost like a game controller, allowing DJs to navigate through menus, playlists and tracks quickly and precisely. This not only makes operation more efficient, but also much more comfortable, which improves the overall DJ experience. Whether selecting songs or controlling various functions, the Smart Rotary Selector offers full control in every situation.
This function creates a version of each track while it is being analysed, allowing vocals, drums and instruments to be isolated and controlled at the touch of a button on the DDJ-GRV6. This makes it possible to mix individual parts with elements from other tracks or to create your own remixes. An effect from the Beat FX or Sound Colour FX range can be applied to each of these tracks. For rekordbox 7, the Stem function has been completely revised and greatly improved compared to the previous version.
The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is equipped with 8-inch jog wheels, similar to those of the CDJ-2000 or XDJ-1000 MK2. The size and pleasant feel of the jog wheels enable realistic and precise levelling, scratching and pitch bending. In addition, the integrated jog indicator ensures that the playback position remains in view at all times, making it easier to control the track. These 8-inch jog wheels offer DJs a professional and comfortable feel, ideal for an authentic performance.
