I have bought this amp to use at home practice/recording. It hase excellent features specially for recording. You don't need to mic the cab for recording. It is very well built with good quality parts. I just loved the tones I get from it. I have an American standard bass and some other cheaper basses but I loved the tones I got with every bass I have. If you pair it with the ampeg portaflex amps you can get very good sound. It is a good idea to use it at home or studio but I dont see any trouble gigng with it aswell. You may get help from PA.... Buy it....
