The Behringer Eurolive B207 MP3 is a great multi-purpose active PA speaker that has a useful MP3 playback feature. Ideal for vocal or keyboard monitoring, solo artists, press conferences and small venues.
The B207 packs a punch with 150 Watts of power which is produced by a 6.5” premium full range driver and Class-D amplifier technology. MP3 playback couldn’t be any easier with the dedicated USB port onboard, all that is needed is to plug in a USB stick with music files on it.
There are four channels, three of which are combo inputs which can take XLR or ¼” jack providing either mic or line level, and one that has a RCA input that can be used as a CD input.
The main features of the Behringer Eurolive B207 MP3 include:
150 Watt active PA speaker
Class-D amplifier technology
6.5” premium full range driver
4 channel mixer with 3-band EQ ( 3 x combo ¼” jack/XLR inputs, 1 x RCA input)
3 mic preamps on combo channels with 48V Phantom power
Integrated limiter
XLR thru connector for adding more B207 MP3 systems
Wow this is a great bit of Kit, Professional use or just for the gig-er, Light, easily portable and a great sound for such a small speaker. The Mp3 player is a bit fiddly to operate takes a while to get use to the wait as it reads the pen and the buttons are a little flimsy I dont think they will stand up to a lot of hard use. To skip through a list of songs takes a while as Ive yet to find out if you can jump several tracks, Ive had to go through my list one by one. The bottom support would have been better designed if it had been angled to match the housing. Apart from those few niggles I would definitely recommend it.
My second buy of this monitor, loud enough as a main amp for small venues, and with excellent sound quality. Quiet in use, very low noise, operates fine in summer heat. 1/4 volume will out perform acoustic instruments. It's a pretty tough and well-built unit but I've knocked a star off for an ear-blastingly crackly and scratchy main volume knob. This is usually fixable, but it's a pain to do and my first modern amp to suffer from this. This minor issue wouldn't stop me buying another.
I have used a Beringer B205 as a vocal monitor speaker with my drum kit for many years, which has been superb. The B207 will improve the sound again due to its 6.5 inch speaker, it also has the three XLR/Jack input channels which add extra versatility to the monitor. Superb service from DV247/Music Store with very quick delivery.
