The HT-5RH MKIII from Blackstar is a tube combo, which is equipped with two channels and despite a peak output of 5 watts has plenty of power and is ideal for compact use and transportation. With an ECC83 preamp tube and a 12BH7 power amp tube, the amp delivers sufficient power for warm clean sounds through to rich overdrive, without having to provide 100 watts for a full tube playing experience - perfect for home use.
Further features of the HT-5RH MKIII
The HT-5RH MKIII also offers the option of power reduction from 5 to 0.5 watts and a headphone output if a practice session needs to be completely silent. For seamless integration of external effects pallets, there is an FX loop on the rear of the amp as well as Line In/Line Out sockets, a footswitch connection and a separate USB-C socket, which can be used for direct pickup of the amp. The amplifier also comes with an XLR output and three speaker outputs with an impedance of 8 to 16 ohms. Thanks to its comparatively small size and low peak output of 5 watts, the HT-5RH MKIII delivers plenty of power and is perfect for home use, practice purposes or spontaneous jam sessions.
