With the Boss GM-800 Guitar Synthesizer, the Japanese effects specialist heralds the next Generation state-of-the-art synthesizer technology for electric guitars and basses. The key to success here is clearly the innovative ZEN-Core sound engine and the powerful DSP, which break down any previously known limits of what is possible. Of course, the GM-800 Guitar Synthesizer remains true to the classic Boss design philosophy and offers a clear user interface and absolute suitability for the road despite its incredibly diverse sound options.
Multifaceted sounds thanks to ZEN-Core Sound Engine
The Boss GM-800 Guitar Synthesizer uses ZEN-Core technology, familiar from synthesizers such as the Jupiter-X, Fantom and many more, as a sound-generating element. This combines modern PCM synthesis with advanced modeling to provide a diverse sound image. The GM-800 offers over 1200 different sounds with 70 additional rhythm sounds, guaranteeing the right inspiration for every project. All your own creations can be saved to one of the 150 internal 'Scenes' memory locations for later use.
Four tones including rhythm
The Boss GM-800 Guitar Synthesizer allows you to combine up to four simultaneous Tone parts to create complex soundscapes and interesting effects. From various instrument sounds to modern pads and classic analog synthesizer sounds, this innovative device offers a wide selection of first-class sound elements and parameters that provide different tunings and Pitch settings, modulation and numerous other useful customization options.
Intuitive user interface
In order to maintain control over the complex sound options of the Boss GM-800 on stage, Boss uses the user interface familiar from the SY-300 with four footswitches, four knobs and an easy-to-read display. The footswitches provide access to basic functions such as selecting scenes and their set functions, while the knobs have a direct influence on the individual effect parameters. Control via MIDI is also possible without any problems thanks to suitable connections.
Boss Tone Studio
If the setting options on the GM-800 are not enough for you, you can use the additional Boss Tone Studio software for precise editing of individual sound aspects. Extensive adjustments can be made here with surgical precision, allowing you to tailor individual scenes to your own requirements and sound preferences down to the smallest detail. The Boss GM-800 can also be used as an audio and MIDI interface via USB, making it an excellent choice for studio environments.
