Practical guitar processor for jam sessions and playalongs
The Boss Pocket GT is a powerful guitar processor in a handy format that makes learning new songs and jams a breeze. The compact Pocket GT combines the authentic amp sounds and effects of the Boss GT series with innovative playalong features for YouTube videos. These can be easily controlled via the Boss Tone Studio accompaniment app at Bluetooth. The app also provides extensive editing tools for custom sounds. For this purpose, 99 user presets are available, which are automatically changed using the marker function of the Tone Studio app, for example, when moving from the verse to the chorus and then to the solo. The right sound is available at any time. The Boss Pocket GT can also be used as a USB audio interface anytime and anywhere to instantly record guitar tracks in premium quality with any popular DAW.
High quality GT sounds
Since the Boss Pocket GT is based on the same sound engine as the Boss GT-1 processor, it offers more than 100 authentic-sounding amp simulations and additional effects for a variety of possible sounds that can be stored in a total of 99 preset slots. Those who use the Boss Tone Studio app for editing will find extensive editing of amp settings and effects parameters to fine-tune their own sound, and can even easily use presets from the GT-1 with the Boss Pocket GT. The Pocket GT's control panel is designed to be as straightforward as possible, allowing you to adjust gain, level, ReverbDelay and overdrive/distortion, and has a tuning function to keep you in tune at all times.
Extensive playalong function for YouTube and music apps
For easy playalongs and learning new songs, the Pocket GT provides extremely practical functions in conjunction with the Tone Studio app. Simply use the app to watch YouTube content on any smartphone or tablet, set custom markers, and assign individual user memory slots to sections with your own sound creations. When playing the video, the Pocket GT will automatically switch to the assigned sound as soon as the video passes the set marker point, so that changes from clear cleans in the intro to raw crunch sounds in the bridge to a high-gain solo with Reverb and Delay happen completely automatically and at the appropriate time. A loop function for repeating and deepening certain sequences is also on board the Pocket Tone app.
Bluetooth & USB
In addition to its extensive playalong function for YouTube, the Pocket GT can also be used with a variety of other music apps. For this purpose, the Pocket GT has a Bluetooth interface and can be paired with any other Bluetooth-enabled player. External playback devices without a Bluetooth interface can also be connected via the Aux Input on the side, making it easy to feed in drum machines and other accompanying tracks. Even at Studio, the Pocket GT cuts a fine figure as a fully functional audio interface and can form a portable mini-studio in conjunction with common DAWs, making recording guitar tracks a breeze.
