Classic design with agile playing characteristics
As a classic Super Strat, the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR combines a tried-and-tested design with optimized handling for agile players. While the alder body sits comfortably on the body thanks to the traditionally generous shaping, the graphite-reinforced maple neck promises excellent playing characteristics right up to the highest positions of the maple fingerboard thanks to the "speed neck" profile with a compound radius that flattens towards the high positions.
Seymour Duncan pickups
The sound conversion of the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR is handled by two Seymour Duncan USA humbuckers, which are screwed directly to the body wood in a direct-mount design. While the Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck position delivers traditional vintage tones for singing Overdrive and warm clean sounds, the extremely powerful Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker at the bridge provides merciless distortion sounds that cut through the Mix with a well-dosed bite in the mids and highs and sharply outline every note. While the coil split option using the push/pull switch in the volume control expands the repertoire of transparent single coil sounds, the no-load tone pot promises a particularly direct sound when the treble control is not used.
