There are also many classic photographs of Keith using a Hummingbird on sessions for “Exile on Main Street”, “Goat’s Head Soup” and “Sticky Fingers”. Today, the Hummingbird is still a go-to Acoustic for rockers like Noel Gallagher, Sheryl Crow, and Kid Rock when they need a Rhythm Guitar with smooth action and superb Woody Tone that’s full of character.
This chic replica of the legendary Hummingbird, the Epiphone Hummingbird Studio Faded Cherry, is an electro acoustic guitar in versatile dreadnought construction with the characteristic Hummingbird pickguard. Due to its solid spruce top the instrument produces a clear and bright sound, which is perfectly complemented by the warm and expressive bass frequencies of the laminated mahogany body. The flat mahogany neck with Pau Ferro fretboard and parallelogram inlays offers the player an extremely comfortable playing feel and, thanks to the narrow nut width of 42.9 mm, easy fingering in all 20 frets. For use on stage, a Fishman Sonitone pickup system is built into the multi-faceted instrument, which amplifies the acoustic sound in a very natural way. Smooth-running Grover nickel tuners in combination with the typical Epiphone headstock and a noble Faded Cherry Sunburst finish perfectly round off the Epiphone Hummingbird Studio Faded Cherry in its aesthetics.
The Hummingbird Pro is a great guitar with a beautiful flawless finish and the added bonus of a pre amp and pick-up so it can be plugged in. Since I purchased this guitar I can hardly put it down. It has a really nice sound with a great fretboard which makes playing it a real pleasure, and to suit all levels of player from beginner to gigging pro, and could be used by a pro without a back up guitar. The faded cherry finish is even better than it looks on the photos, with a fantastic deep gloss finish it looks brilliant. I would recommend this guitar to anyone, you wont be disappointed.
Its cheap, has a solid top, looks fantastic and most important of all has a bright and beautiful sound. You can also plug it with its Fishman preamp. No excuses not to buy this piece!

This guitar has a great value. Sound is bright and loud. The guitar has a low action and it is very pleasant to play.
The finish is remarkable at this price range. Really beautiful guitar.
The only thing I miss is a built-in tuner.
