The compact Grand Auditorium body consists of a solid spruce top and a laminated mahogany body for a balanced yet powerful sound. With the help of internal bracing, this combination produces warm bass, mid-range and clear treble frequencies that develop quickly and comprehensively. At the same time, the 5-piece mahogany neck with ebony inserts promises comfortable playability in all 20 frets, which are set into a robust yet finger-friendly HPL fingerboard.

The compensated bridge inlay and the 43 mm wide bone nut ensure a clean intonation of the strings, which can be easily and precisely tuned with the help of the tuning-stable black Fame die-cast tuners. Peter Maffay's signature is enthroned between the tuners in the form of a filigree inlay, which is perfectly matched to the abalone binding of the unique headstock. The headstock is rounded off with a decorative Peter Maffay custom truss rod cover.

The individual components of the back of the body are also delimited by wooden bindings so that the overall appearance is very harmonious and premium.

Maximum functionality is guaranteed by the extensive custom pickup system built into the body, which has been expanded for this model to include an effective mid-range control. The pressure exerted by the strings on the saddle and the piezo element underneath means that the acoustic sound of the model is picked up directly and passed on to the amplifier. In addition, the output signal can be individually adjusted via four potentiometers mounted on the top. This allows the overall volume, bass, mid and treble frequencies to be adjusted to individual requirements and ambient conditions.
