The limited-edition one-off is equipped with three powerful Dual-Mag II single coil pickups and is composed of quality tonewoods and traditional vintage hardware from the Custom store. In addition, the Strat is equipped with tasteful Relic Ageing, which provides authetic playing traces.

All three pickups can be adjusted via the typical 5-way circuit with two volume and one tone control.

Dual-Mag Pickups with 1/2 Blender Wiring

Three namesake Dual-Mag II pickups offer powerful tone and a wide soundstage with additional coil windings, while the single coil in the middle position in RWRP format with reverse winding prevents annoying noise. All three single coil pickups are composed of an effective mix of Alnico V magnets for the low E to G strings and bevelled pole pieces of Alnico II for the B and E strings. Furthermore, a Strat 1/2 Blender Wiring with Tone Saver Bleed provides further tonal flexibility without tonal compromise.

Headstock and neckplate are marked with the serial number of the unique piece from the custom store of the traditional California company.

Structure and features

The classic composition of the Roasted Dual-Mag II Stratocaster Relic Aged Black is enhanced with a warm tonality from the roasted alder body and bolt-on Quarter Sawn Maple neck. The '60s Oval-'C' neck profile provides a comfortable neck texture and optimal playability conditions for the rosewood fingerboard with a rising compound radius. Last but not least, the chic Dual-Mag Strat features Fender Custom Shop Hardware consisting of a synchronized tremolo bridge and vintage-style tuners, also with a Relic-Ageing look.
