For most jazz guitars, once the volume goes up, the beautiful jazz tones go down, the tubes that is. But not with the George Benson signature series of electric guitars. Back in the mid-70's, virtuoso George Benson had a vision of the features a jazz guitar would need to survive in the world of amplification. The result was his GB10, a jazz guitar for the modern world. New generations of cutting edge jazz guitarists continue to record and perform with the GB10, unimpeachable testimony that the GB10 is still the guitar. Anytime, anywhere, any volume! Floating pickups, a thicker top and a smaller body help to reject feedback while a special ebony bridge transfers tone from strings to the top. Furthermore, the die-cast tailpiece allows separate tension adjustment of treble and bass strings.

Ibanez GB10 George Benson Semi Acoust ic Guitar, Natural
Great guitar at good price point. Guitar was shipped with good double box protection. Although made in china, comes with stable and smooth guitar case. After opening it a great looking guitar is staring at you. It comes with standard nickel bronze strings, for more mellow tone I would recommend the ECG23 chromes. Sound is well balanced and unbelievable unplucked as well as plucked. The neck is right for easy playing, and well tuned. You may watch out when changing strings as with the special tailpiece could be a bit of fizzling. However, highly recommended.

First class guitar at an affordable price fantastic tone for those jazz tones , if any negative a little heavy on treble side but you don’t buy this guitar for bridge pickup , sounds great accoustic, finish, first class , great ebony fretboard with well shaped frets only negative on frets could do with a bit more polishing a little gritty no hardship to do this though, great fitting case keeps guitar well protected. All round one very happy guitarist. Would recommend this guitar

Beautiful looking instrument, solid construction, with a solid case too, it shipped very quickly and in well packed box. The sound is good too if a bit bright for some jazz soundings but it plays very nicely. Its a perfect instrument for the jazz beginner at the price.
