Seven-stringed electric guitar in Jackson Rhoads design with full neck, Duncan Designed Pickups and Floyd Rose Tremolo
With the Jackson X Series RRX24-7 Gloss Black, the Californian hard'n'heavy specialists present the weapon of choice for the modern metal guitarist. In the well-known aggressive rhoads design, the 7-string electric guitar offers not only the extended range of the low H-string, but also unhindered playability thanks to the continuous "speed neck" and fretboard with compound radius. In addition, two Duncan Designed Humbuckers on the amplifier provide brute sounds.
The Jackson RRX24-7 7-String Rhoads with seven strings, hot pickups and fast neck is the weapon of choice for the modern metal guitarist.
Jackson X Series RRX24-7: 7-String with fast neck
With its sleek, asymmetrical rhoads design and reversed headstock, the Jackson RRX24-7 has an enormous stage presence, while at the same time impressing with unimpeded playability across all strings and frets. This is undoubtedly due to the continuous maple neck, whose speed-neck profile, which is easy on the speed-finger, in conjunction with the compound radius of the fingerboard, lets every reef fas go by itself. In addition, the neck reinforced with graphite inlays in conjunction with the body wings made of lime, which not without good reason bears the English name Basswood, promises a powerful sound that also reproduces the low B-string precisely and in a defined way.
Duncan Designed Humbucker for tight sounds
The electric tone conversion of the Jackson X Series RRX24-7 takes over a set of Duncan Designed HB-7 humbuckers, which is closely related to the 7-string versions of the popular JB and Jazz models. Accordingly, the particularly hot-wound bridge pickup moves each riff with tight attack, with the focused mids and razor-sharp highs cutting even the deepest notes through the band sound with playful ease. The humbucker on the neck, on the other hand, convinces with its warm, yet perfectly defined sound, which makes every note sing with long sustain. The pickups are managed by 3-way toggle switches, individual volume controls and a general tone potentiometer.
Floyd Rose 7-String Tremolo
As a full-blooded electric guitar for metal, the Jackson X Series RRX24-7 also features a Floyd Rose Special 7-String tremolo, which acknowledges even the most breakneck actions with the tremolo lever without detuning. Every Dive Bomb and every Squeal can be realized with playful ease due to the soft response of the system. From the bridge, the strings run with the proven 25.5" scale length towards the headstock, where they meet the precise Jackson tuners behind the locking saddle.
