The Klark Teknik DN32-Live Expansion Module is an SD/SDHC and USB 2.0 expansion module for the Midas M32 and Behringer digital consoles. It provides 32-channel bi-directional audio I/O via USB 2.0 for live performance and studio recording, as well as comprehensive control of your DAW via HUI/Mackie control emulation. The additional use of 2x SD/SDHC slots allows the fully independent recording and playback of up to 32x channels of uncompressed WAV files in consistent sessions - up to the maximum capacity of SD cards. With the DN32-Live it is possible to record multi-channel live or session tracks, to perform virtual sound checks, to add backing tracks, to set and edit accurate markers and complete control via PC, Android or Session without using a laptop iPad to enjoy.
The DN32-Live is equipped with 2x SD/SDHC card slots, the DN32-Live offers uncompressed recording and playback of up to 64GB of audio stored in memory. This is enough to record an uninterrupted 32-track session lasting 3 hours and 20 minutes - all without leaving the console. The USB and SD interfaces DN32-Live can be operated simultaneously and independently of each other. For example, you can play your recorded session from an SD card and record the tracks via USB into your favourite DAW for post-processing.
All functions and transport controls of DN32-Live can be remotely controlled via PC, Android or iPad apps, assignable controls or compatible hardware control surfaces such as the Behringer X-Touch. For optimal read/write performance on a variety of SD and SDHC cards, DN32-Live uses uncompressed 32-bit PCM format multi-channel WAV files as standard. A DN32-Live recording session can consist of one or more takes and record consistently for up to 24 hours. Multi-channel WAV files can be imported directly into the most popular DAW software.
