Korg Liano at a glance
The Liano from Korg is a digital piano with focus on playing fun, mobility and good sound. A Liano? Sure! The "L" stands for lightweight: at a slim six kilos, this keyboard instrument with a velocity-sensitive 88-key keyboard is hard to beat. The low Gewicht proves to be an advantage if you travel with the Liano more often or if it changes rooms regularly in the household or school.
The sample-based sound generation offers eight selected sounds (Piano 1/2, E-Piano 1/2, Harpsichord, P. Organ, E. Organ, Strings), which are suitable for numerous styles from classical to pop and jazz to sacred music. Thanks to 120 voices polyphony, the Liano has enough air upwards even when playing fast so that no fading note is swallowed. If needed, the currently selected sound can be spiced up with reverb and Chorus effects. Eight demo songs as well as a metronome with different time signatures support the playing and learning effect on the instrument at the touch of a button. The built-in 2x 8 watt stereo speaker system with bass reflex reproduces a precise sound image even with quiet tones and scores with a certain foundation in the sound. A headphone output, which can also be used as a line output for connection to a mixer or amplifier, allows playing when no one is to be disturbed. For mobile use, there is a battery compartment that holds six AA batteries, with which a playing time of about eight hours independent of the mains is possible.
