Versatile Distortion pedal for electric bass
With the Laney Black Country Customs Blackheath, the amplifier manufacturer from Birmingham expands the successful Black Country Customs line-up with an extremely versatile Distortion pedal for electric bass. With three Distortion modes and well thought-out control options, the pedal delivers a multi-faceted bass twitch that ranges from juicy vintage grind to modern Distortion for rock and metal.
Three Distortion Modes
At the heart of the Black Country Customs Blackheath Bass Distortion is an analog circuit that delivers amazingly flexible Bass sounds with three Distortion modes. Distortion 1 is an extremely aggressive distortion with a modern sound character, while Distortion 2 simulates the warm character of heavily overdriven tube amps through asymmetrical clipping. In Overdrive mode, the Blackheath also delivers a moderate drive that is best suited for subtly coloring the Bass sound.
Full Sound Control
Laney's Blackheath also gives you full control over the sound with its straightforward knob layout. The Drive knob adjusts the amount of distortion, while the Tone knob adjusts the amount of treble. The Range knob also determines the tightness and growl of the Bass sound.
