MOTU presents Digital Performer 10, a complete music production solution for the computer - whether Mac or PC. Record music, edit audio files with a wide range of effects, mix everything to professional standards, and fine-tune your tracks with mastering tools. Also on board are virtual instruments, loops and audio/MIDI tracks that boost your creativity and can be intuitively integrated into any project. Drum editor, notation view, virtual guitar amps and many other plug-ins complement the already extensive feature list, while the user interface can be designed as desired. Third-party plug-ins are of course also compatible, so that your favorite tools from other developers can be integrated at any time.
Whether you're playing a real instrument, trying out new instrument sounds, or just want to get your mix right, Digital Performer 10 delivers everything you need for professional music production. Use a huge sound library, immerse yourself in the world of MIDI sequencing and chase your recordings through high-quality emulations of well-known analog devices that can be heard on countless records.
Digital Performer offers the possibility to design the main window according to your wishes. It can be split vertically and horizontally as desired and filled with views for tracks, mixer, waveform editor, event list, marker, lyrics, movies, audio monitor, etc. This way, all necessary/important information about your current work process remains displayed. Of course you can also save window presets!
In addition, there are various selectable designs to provide you with the Look one you feel comfortable with. Do you mainly work on your projects in the evening? Simply adjust the DAW to suit your eyes. Or do you happen to have a live gig and would like to attract a little more attention with some wacky plasma or neon looks? It's up to you.
Digital Performer is still the only audio workstation software that can load a complete live show into a single project. Big acts like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Roger Waters, Aerosmith and many more rely on the DAW to use so-called "chunks". These chunks contain backing tracks, counters, stage directions, effect presets - even control tracks for light/pyro effects and video screens!
The list goes on and on: Benefit from flexible tools like the POLAR (Loop Recorder), track folders and groups, selectable resolutions, step record, comp, and automation features. Mix over the powerful digital mixer, work with pitch correction, score windows, and more!
