New Module from Make Noise: Bruxa!
Effect modular synthesizer from Make Noise
With Bruxa, Make Noise introduces a Eurorack module distilled from their Strega desktop synthesizer. Described by Make Noise as an alchemical audio experiment – and developed in collaboration with Alessandro Cortini, Bruxa offers a unique sonic palette rooted in creative degradation. At its core, Bruxa is a multi-tap delay featuring over a dozen distinct feedback paths threaded through multiple filters. These paths are disgned to accumulate noise, saturation and signal degradation, creating evolwithin those feedback paths aligned to allow for the accumulation of noise, saturation and signal degradation. The delay/filter combination differs from the Strega not only in layout but also in sound. Among other things, this is due to slight level differences between other oscillators and the audio material fed in.
