The Aguilar Super Single pickup with Alnico-V pole pieces placed at the neck delivers a warm but transparent sound with excellent dynamics. At the bridge, the Aguilar Super Double pickup, which is also Alnico-V-reinforced, promises a fat tone with growling mids and enormous assertiveness. For precise tuning of the timbre, the active Mayones M-BP3 3-band EQ with selectable middle frequency for the mids control is integrated. The equalizer can also be switched off for classic passive sounds, and a separate treble control allows smooth treble roll-offs.
