PCMs TB2+ are passive 2-waystudio monitors with high resolution and detail accuracy, precisebass reproduction and consistentsound balance at all levels. With a little more SPL than its smaller DB1S brother and extendedbass range, these speakers can also be used in largerlistening environments. The neutral and widefrequency response of 40Hz - 25kHz scores just as much as the improvements to the tweeter, crossover and transmission line, so that the monitors can be used in various areas, such as broadcast.
ATL - Advanced Transmission Line
In the bass range, the technology of the Advanced Transmission Line, ATL™ for short, is used. In this case, the bass driver is located at the end of a wound tube inside the cabinet, which is covered with insulating material. The constant air pressure in the cabinet makes the driver more precise and transparent, the midrange is not masked by harmonic distortions and the reproduction impresses with enormous clarity.
