With the PRS SE Custom 24-08 Eriza Verde electric guitar, Paul Reed Smith sends an extremely flexible interpretation of his absolute success model into the race as part of the popular SE series. With eight different sounds and first-class playing characteristics, it turns out to be a true all-rounder for almost every musical style. While the mahogany body in typical PRS design carries a maple top with elegant shallow violin carve and figured maple veneer, the glued maple neck offers optimal playing characteristics over all 24 frets of its rosewood fingerboard thanks to the handy "Wide Thin" profile.
Optimally matched in capacitance and inductance to the PRS SE Custom 24-08 Faded Blue, the PRS TCI "S" humbuckers deliver well-balanced clean and overdrive tones that make every note heard with harmonious articulation. Each pickup has its own coil-split switch for transparent single-coil sounds, so that the electric guitar, in conjunction with the traditional 3-way switching, has a total of eight characterful tones ready. As a true electric guitar from PRS, the SE Custom 24-08 is of course equipped with a smooth PRS Designed tremolo and tuning-stable PRS Designed die-cast tuners.
The craftsmanship, finish, pure optic of this beautiful PRS guitar is of a very high standard.
The sound is wonderful, and the fit for my small hands was unexpectedly good. I would definitely buy it again.
