I bought this pedal to emulate some of Chris Wolstenholme from Muse's synth sounds and wasn't disappointed. It perfectly copies the Akai Deep Impact for a fraction of the price and has many more synth sounds on top. It's easy to use but feature packed, and I'm only scratching the surface with what it can offer with the sound editor and other people's downloadable patches. I would recommend the Future Impact to anyone who wants a great sounding synth pedal that doesn't require a degree to operate or who desperately wants a Deep Impact but can't afford, or isn't willing to pay, the stupid money that pedal goes for on eBay.
Awesome device with fantastic sound. If you play bass guitar with mono (not chords), it works like it should be. If you play intervals or chords, it makes some sound mistake and it sounds fenomenal, like some crazy synth artefacts from hard EDM scene. I love it. Sure there's no more alternative to get this sound without this device. I use software synths a long time, and I know synthesis well, but never heard sounds like this. Specially a noise generator is so good! This is best vintage mono synth I ever heard, and opportunity to play the pattern from bass guitar and use some glides vibrato etc so amazing! I love it, thanks a lot to Panda Audio!! Good stuff!
This item may seem pricey but it's cool factor more than makes it worth it! Suddenly the simplest of basslines just sound cool as f***! With updates etc this product also seems pretty future(impact)proof. It has already taught me areas of my playing where I could tighten up my technique too which I certainly see as a positive.
