Limited to only 72 pieces worldwide, the Sigma SDM-18E Limited convinces with its traditional appearance and not least with its powerful and warm sound character. Therefore, the dreadnought is extremely well suited for expressive strumming and vocal accompaniment. The flat neck also guarantees a very comfortable fingering in all 20 frets. In addition, the instrument is equipped with a high-quality L.R. Baggs pickup system, which picks up the acoustic sound unaltered and passes it on to the amplifier. Elaborate inlay work and a high-gloss finish with aging toner on the back and sides round off the acoustic guitar perfectly. A sturdy deluxe plywood case is included in the delivery.
Due to its solid construction, all frequencies unfold quickly and over a wide area, so that powerful and defined tones can be effortlessly elicited from the instrument. The European spruce top enriches the sound with clear mid and treble frequencies, while the flamed mahogany body colors the bass frequencies with a pleasant warmth. The flat mahogany neck with a low-profile and ebony fingerboard allows for easy play in all frets, so even extensive fingering patterns can be mastered with ease.
To ensure that the SDM-18E intonates cleanly over the entire 645 mm scale length, it is equipped with a 44.5 mm wide nut and a bone bridge inlay. Open nickel tuners also allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which end in an ebony bridge. This is decorated with filigree Snowflake inlays, which are perfectly matched to the corresponding fingerboard inlays. A large tortoise pickguard and a multi-stripe soundhole rosette emphasize the timeless look of the Guitar and contrast tastefully with the light top wood.
