The kashmir pre-amps sound amazing and I love how lightweight and compact the recorder is.
The 4 inputs allow for dolby atmos recordings, or shotgun with radio mics, etc. so really versatile in terms of use.

Sound devices are very clear in their promotion of the MixPre - this does not replace proper gain staging. But, to have the confidence that it’s nearly impossible to get a bad recording is utterly game changing.
