The Squier FSR Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS MN BPG Black offers the classic Strat feel and a versatile sound spectrum at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Like its big sister models, the Squier Affinity Strat features the classic combination of poplar body and maple neck, while the pickup is a standard humbucker and two standard single-coils. Accordingly, the electric guitar made by the subsidiary Fenders is the ideal instrument for beginners who do not want to commit to any particular genre and want a perfectly playable instrument.
The Squier Affinity Strat HSS offers the authentic Stratocaster feel and versatile guitar tones at an excellent price/performance ratio.
Stratocaster in traditional construction
The construction of the Squier Affinity Strat follows the traditional specifications from the golden age of the emerging electric guitar in the 1950s. Accordingly, the body is made of solid poplar, which in combination with the classic maple bolt-on neck and maple fingerboard promises the typical balanced Strat sound. Here, the comfortable "C" profile of the neck offers especially beginners the perfect basis for the first game on the instrument and lets the first chords and melodies go easily from the fingers.
Versatile sound
With its pickup configuration, the Squier Affinity HSS Strat has a particularly variable sound that is not limited to any particular genre. The humbucker on the bridge delivers a powerful sound for creamy Overdrive and classic rock, but is also not averse to short excursions into moderate metal realms. furthermore, the two single-coils on the neck and in the middle complement the guitar sound and glassy sounds with a bell-like response, which presents chords and melodies particularly harmoniously. The pickup is controlled in the best Strat manner via a 5-way blade switch, as well as a volume and two-tone pots.
Reliable hardware
The particularly reliable Hardware of the Squier Affinity Stratocaster promises long-lasting playing pleasure. Thus, with the help of the modern 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo, gently shimmering vibrato sounds can be created, which really bring the guitar sound to life, while at the headstock Squier standard die-cast tuners with precise running provide indestructible tuning stability. A visual highlight is also the large headstock in authentic Sixties retro style.

Squier FSR Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS MN BPG Black
i just love the feel of this guitar. I would have given it a full 5 stars but the frets had some sharp edges but was easily fixed. Pickups sound amazing though both the humbucker and single coil sound spot on. And the colour wow looks very cool indeed. The guitar is fairly light compared to my epiphone les paul. Extremely happy with my purchase and DV247 are first class all the way. Dont be put off by the Affinity series they are very well made and stand up well to the Fender series.

Bought this Squire HSS Strat to practice on so I don't overly use my American one (which gets used for gigs) and for the money it plays and sounds really well. Got to also say it was very well packaged and arrived with a 1hr delivery window which is always good. An all round good buying experience.

The squier series is top notch for a cheaper version of the fender its self the sound is incredible and very well made. The strings feel very light and easy to play. as for the body it's study and just the right weight and very flashy. All in all I'm very happy with this.
