I'd been toying with the idea of purchasing one of these vocal pedals for a while and I'm so glad I did.
Most of the songs I perform have varying but quite similar effects so it's great I can set up and name everything individually.
I personally found the unit easy to use and set up, the instructions are quite basic however.
There are some good youtube videos that explain the set up should you get stuck.
The cons are minimal but here they are:
Firstly the hit button is quite small on the pedal and I found myself looking down a lot to locate it in advance of when I needed it, this did improve the more I used the pedal but I hate the idea of people thinking I use lyric sheets and was concerned it looked like I was perhaps reading lyrics on the floor when trying to locate the hit so it effected the overall visual for those watching - I have now purchased the TC Mic with the hit button to avoid this issue.
Am yet to use it but I'm really excited to try it and will report!
Secondly it stores the effects you create over existing ones if that's the number/patch you select and the existing effect seem to have be erased because of this rather than patches swapped, they weren't ones I wanted to use but I just assumed they would swap places, at least not be permanently deleted.
Thirdly as I'm in the UK the adapter and original plug on the product make the whole plug section a bit of a wobbly mountain and I often have to move things around on the extension to accommodate it, not a huge big deal but the plug is the worst bit of the pedal as it seems as if it would easily come apart or be knocked.
In all I am very pleased with the product, it isn't that difficult to use and it does make a huge difference for those wanting to be accurate to covers or adding a bit of a boost to your performance.
Big plus point for me was that my monitor was right on the edge a lot of the time due to the shape of some of the venues and I used to get a lot of feedback, I've found the pedal has allowed for the volume to increase and the feedback levels have improved a lot.
Very impressed and definitely recommend!
Very well built, the sound is pristine, very high-end.
But you really need to dig in the manuals to start to be effective, because as every musician knows, and I quote:
"Factory presets are just examples, therefore they suck!"
So this is a case in wich if you don't usually like to read manuals or don't want to be around the computer that much, this may turn out be tricky, because you'll never learn half the potential of this marvelous pedal!
Recommended!
Fantastic product and the price really helped me decide to get this one! Delivery was super fast, in fact it was faster than they had quoted me so very pleased 😁
Company was good. the item was supplied and delivered in a reasonable timeframe with clear instructions.
the product is good but the user documentation could be a lot better and there are no real instructions. The equipment works very well, and very pleased with it, but is not the prettiest. it seems sturdily built thought.
Have dealt with Music Store before and they are easy to buy from
