The wood grain of the Koa acacia is simply unique in its character and of unsurpassed beauty.

The Taylor K26ce Flor impresses with its unique look and special sound. Softly flowing Plumeria flowers decorate the fretboard and divide the individual frets. The binding and the rosette are set in Indian rosewood in finest tuning. The Taylor Gold tuners ensure good translation and precise tuning. Last but not least, the Taylor ES 2 pickup system provides a warm, dynamic and natural sound.

The Expression System 2 is an upgrade to the previously used version of the in-house pickup system. In contrast to previous practice, the transducer of the ES2 is not located underneath but behind the bar insert. This was because the high tensile force of the strings limits the vertical vibration of the inlay, but it can swing back and forth. The piezo pickup takes advantage of this movement to produce a warm, full and less biting, bright sound.

In contrast to its predecessor, the ES2 also features a preamp with a different gain structure, which slightly increases and adjusts the overall output.
