Telefunken TDP-2 Overview
The TelefunkenTDP-2 is a first-class, passive stereoD.I. speaker from which you can always expect high-quality sound - whether on stage or in the studio during recording. This is due to the carefully selected and installed components, such as OEP/Carnhill transformers, which deliver a rich, warmtone with atmosphere and character to match the sound of your instruments. In addition, the circuit boards are 100% hand-assembled using only through-hole components, which provide a more secure and reliable connection than surface-mounted components. The traces are all gold-plated to ensure maximum conductivity over the entire service life, while the high input impedance does not stress passive pickups. The frequency response of the circuit is ±2dB from 10Hz to 40 kHz with extremely low distortion and self-noise.
Two instruments with just one DI box
Furthermore, the circuitry is housed in an extremely sturdy pressed aluminum enclosure with recessed switches and connections. The virtually indestructible TDP-2 D.I. box therefore easily meets all the requirements of everyday concert use. In addition, each channel has two robust switches to activate an attenuation of 15 dB and the ground lift. The TDP 2 offers two separate channels with their own control elements, allowing two instruments to be operated with just one DI box.
