The Vandoren Optimum Ligature for alto saxophone offers a high level of operating comfort and easy handling. The included pressure plates can be easily replaced in a time-saving manner. The included plates can be used to change the sound as well as the response, thus offering the possibility to get the best sound out of it.

Application

The reed is fixed with the Vandoren Optimum Ligature for alto saxophone so that it can still vibrate freely and thus optimize the response.
The 1st pressure plate has a great resonance with rich, sonorous tones. The response is easy.
The 2nd pressure plate offers an even more compact yet centered sound. The soft and balanced sound comes into its own here. The response is particularly light and direct.
The 3rd pressure plate offers very great tonal flexibility and variety.
