With the Ampeg Heritage 50th Anniversary SVT all-tube bass amp, the American amp company celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of its legendary bass top end, which helped countless bassists develop their own voices and is still considered the benchmark for assertive bass tones today. Here, Ampeg relies on a carefully assembled set of tubes and a two-channel concept that combines the most legendary SVT characters.
The first channel is fully dedicated to the sound of the original "Blue Line" SVT from 1969 and accordingly offers not only a 3-band tone control with semi-parametric mid-band, but also the traditional Ultra Hi and Ultra Lo presets to emphasize the lows and highs in the sound.
The second channel, on the other hand, takes its cue from the Magnavox era of the mid-seventies and, with its 2-band tone control as well as ultra-hi and ultra-lo presets, is a straightforward guarantor of fat vintage sounds. In addition to a balanced XLR output for direct bass signal pickup, the Ampeg Heritage 50th Anniversary SVT comes with speaker connections in Speaker Twist and jack format.
