After buying Ableton Push 2, I decided to buy a cover which would protect the Push live. Good piece of equipment, although you need to make sure you cushion the nearside as this can scratch your new Ableton board. I have put a little bit of felt on this and it completely solved that issue. Important to protect the hardware in a Live setting.
Very good quality. More heavy duty than you would think. Surprising actually, but the price is justified IMO. Reminds me of a Technics 1210 lid, but far more durable. I'm glad that I went for this one as alternative seemed to be lighter in KG weight, so I figured this would be a better buy. I would definitely sing it's praises as a dustcover as you do need something to help with the dust & dirt. I always covered my old MPC, but dust is part & parcel of studio life. I think these decksavers are pleasing to the eye, add value & help to prevent problems / cut down on maintenance. Not expensive if you've ever experienced crackly pots & faders, ghosting encoders or misfiring pads. Cheers!
