The SC6000 PRIME is a standalone, dual-deck DJ media player packed with impressive features designed for professional DJ performances. Combining a stylish, futuristic design with an intuitive interface, it offers a wealth of controls without feeling overwhelming. The HD 10.1-inch touchscreen, 8.5-inch jog wheel, high-responsive rubber performance pads, three USB inputs, an SD card slot, and a built-in HDD drive bay make the Denon DJ SC6000 PRIME a flagship device for DJ performance. This multimedia player is powered by the robust ENGINE operating system, which allows internal analysis of music data, including Rekordbox™ collections. It also delivers class-leading time-stretching, enables harmonic mixing perfection, supports Serato DJ Pro control, plays uncompressed audio formats, offers Wi-Fi streaming, standalone track preview, Engine Connect, and StagelinQ support for seamless integration.
The Stems feature enables precise isolation or removal of vocals, melody, bass, and drums from any track. This groundbreaking technology unlocks limitless creative possibilities for customising DJ sets, creating exciting remixes, or delivering unique performances. Engine DJ Stems elevates DJ sets to a new level, redefining the boundaries of what is possible. Since 11th December 2024, stems playback is available on all Engine DJ devices. Usage requires a one-time software licence purchase of $9.99 (for up to four devices simultaneously) and is supported by the following Denon DJ and Numark products:

At the top third of the SC6000 sits the high-definition 10.1-inch touchscreen with multi-gesture support. This outstanding visual and interactive user interface allows navigation through music libraries, searching and loading tracks, and editing playlists. Users can also adjust waveforms, manage menus, configure essential performance features, or internally update unanalyzed tracks.
The 8.5-inch jog wheel with adjustable resistance offers perfect tactile feedback for nudging, back-cueing, or authentic scratching. The central HD display showcases selected track artwork or custom DJ logos, along with DJ data such as deck status, track duration, and loop length. For better visual organisation, the RGB ring can also be color-customized.
The eight rubber performance pads with standalone controls provide instant access to hot cues, loops, rolls, and slices. This enables on-the-fly remixing, creating chops, or crafting unique DJ mixes. Thanks to their refined illumination, the pads are easy to locate even in dark environments.
The Denon DJ SC6000 PRIME features three USB ports, an SD card slot, and an internal 2.5-inch HDD drive bay, ensuring no concerns about storage capacity or media source selection. Additionally, the media player remembers previous DJ settings, performed track cue points, loop regions, playback history, preparation folders, and live track analysis for any inserted media source.
This standalone DJ player delivers dual outputs at 24-bit, 96 kHz digital audio quality, supporting all popular compressed and uncompressed music file formats, including FLAC, ALAC, and WAV. It also offers Wi-Fi or wired internet music streaming. Support for platforms such as Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud, and TIDAL will be available soon.
For extreme tempo changes with locked pitch, the ENGINE OS and high-quality time-stretching algorithms ensure real-time, artefact-free, acoustically perfect audio reproduction.
Instant key matching or key changes are effortless with the SC6000. Track keys can be displayed in Camelot or traditional modes, enabling perfectly harmonized DJ sets.
By pressing the Layer button, users can access the second deck, which features a dedicated digital and analogue output. This effectively turns the SC6000 PRIME into a 2-decks-in-1 player.
The SC6000 PRIME offers comprehensive control over Serato DJ Pro. This includes touchscreen navigation and flexible hardware control of all Serato DJ Pro effects, filters, and performance functions.
With the ENGINE PRIME music analysis and management software, users can organize, categorise, and import tracks via drag-and-drop from existing music folders or seamlessly integrate from Rekordbox®, iTunes, Serato, and NI Traktor collections (including hot cues and loop information). Hot cues and loop regions can be set, beat grids edited, and tracks previewed. The music collection can then be quickly and easily exported to a USB drive, SD card, or HDD.
