Equipped with threehand-wound Custom Shop pickups and a solid neck made of quarter-sawn maple, this '63 Stratocaster embodies the traditional Fender features that provide optimal playing conditions. Its memorable Purple Metallic nitrocellulose NOS (New Old Stock) Custom Shop finish makes the Stratocaster look like a pristine Vintage instrument. Thus, the '63 Stratocaster NOS RW MBJS combines a distinctive Vintage feel with top-notch build quality.

The solid Quartersawn-Maple neck with its standing annual rings and Satin-Finish not only offers an ideal texture but also a custom look. Furthermore, the bolt-on neck fits comfortably in the hand due to the '60s oval 'C' neck profile, making it easy to play the 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. The Vintage7.25" fingerboard radius also provides the best bending fundamentals.
The Custom Shop Modified Vintage #2 wiring with Treble Saver Bleed ensures a balanced sound even at low volumes.
Custom Shop Hand Wound Pickups
Through three Custom Shop Hand Wound '60/'63 Strat single coil pickups, the classic sound of the sixties Stratocaster can be memorably reproduced on the amplifier. Thanks to the Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire, the Masterbuilt Stratocaster offers a varied sound from clear sparkling to warm and vocal. Furthermore, the '63 Stratocaster was equipped with the Custom Shop Vintage Modified Wiring #2, which provides treble bleed volume control and two tone controls for further tonal flexibility without treble loss.
