All solid acoustic guitar in square-shoulder construction with cutaway, Sitka spruce top, walnut body, pickup system, including case
With the new Gibson Songwriter Modern EC Walnut, the traditional U.S. manufacturer is expanding its acoustic guitar range with an all solid square-shoulder dreadnought with pickup system and an eye-catching walnut burst finish. Thanks to its wafer-thin nitro-lacquer, the all solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and walnut body produces a powerful sound that is particularly warm in the bass and mid frequencies. A flat handscalloped Advance X-bracing allows for fast and perfect sound development and additionally enhances the vibration behaviour of the fine-grained top wood. The two-piece mapleneck with its rosewood fretboard marked with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, combined with the 43.8 mm wide nut made of GraphTech TUSQ and a generous cutaway, ensures easy and accommodating playability in all 20 frets. A compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ ensures a clean intonation over the entire scale length of647.7 mm. Equipped with a high quality L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, the Songwriter Modern EC is perfect for use on stage or in the rehearsal room, as the sound remains perfectly natural even when amplified. A Gibson Accessory Kit and a sturdy case are included in the scope of delivery.
