The Hagstrom Condor Electric Guitar is a six-string model equipped with a mahogany body and neck, a Resinator fingerboard and a brown burst finish. The Condor was first introduced in 1963, and quickly became a favourite of many professional and aspiring musicians. With a futuristic body shape and unique assortment of tone-shaping options, the Condor became integral in creating great music. Back to stay, the new Condor models were re-introduced in 2015, designed to appeal to modern players.
The neck profile has been slightly rounded, weight balance has been optimised, and important improvements to the “Vintage Tremar” vibrato unit have been made. An improved switching array maintains the look and function of the original whilst incorporating modern, dependable and ergonomic slide switches. Equipped with AlNiCo 5 “Retro-S” pickups, this guitar expertly recreates the essence of the ‘60s sound with the door open for more modern sonic possibilities.
